This is my collection of things that caught my eye on the internet this month. And last month.
-Taylor Swift and Karlie Kloss on the front cover of the March edition of US Vogue is probably an all-time favourite. Hannah-Rose’s response to the cover and discussion of female friendship is ace.
-Michelle reminding us that it’s okay to be unapologetically you
-I basically love Clementine’s Make-Up Interview series where she talks to friends and other bloggers about why they wear make-up, what their favourite products are and their inspirations. Plus, all these girls are younger and far more eloquent than me
-Ian at There Ought to be Clowns sees more theatre than anyone I can think of. His post looking at the place of women in the theatre, both on stage and off, is really interesting reading.
-It’s highly doubtful that I’ll ever link to a sugar free brownie recipe. Ever. Here’s some brioche french toast that looks amazing. All I need is the waffle iron
-Another reminder that comparing yourself to others is never going to make you happy
–“Why I don’t believe in dressing for my body type”. This article needs to be sent to women’s magazine editors everywhere
–Amy went to Iceland and it looks beautiful. I’ve always wanted to visit because Northern Lights and this is definitely tapping into that wonderlust.
-Some of the media coverage in the wake of the tragic Germanwings crash was problematic to say the least. This brilliant article by Stephanie Boland looks at the stigma that still surrounds mental health issues
