Two Months in Review | November & December

Time definitely seemed to slip through my fingers again in the past couple of months; and I’m not entirely sure what I was up to be so distracted.

Took myself to the Living with Buildings exhibition at the Wellcome Collection which is becoming one of my fave places in London. Amazing beef shank pasta at Rustic Stone. Views from the train to Dundalk. Autumn in Lincolnshire.

Mumford & Sons at the First Direct Arena – my fourth time seeing them and they were excellent. Making our house Christmassy. Queen lights in Carnaby Street. House-mas meal.

Views from my Christmas party, I’ll never get over St Pauls. A festive DLR sign. Proper East End pie on my last day of work before Christmas. On my way to losing Scrabble four times.

The cat being very protective of her new toy. Yummy as always Christmas meal at The Olive Branch and a rare picture of myself & the family.

I really enjoy the festive season (time off work! so much food! unashamed prosecco consumption!) although this year was slightly bittersweet as we had some sad news about a family member; which has certainly put any of the supposed rough patches I had over this past year into perspective.
